As vice president in Dimensional's Executive group, Carlo Venes is responsible for leading the effort to expand the firm's business in Asia (ex Japan). Carlo's main focus is working with institutional investors, including central banks, sovereign wealth funds, insurance companies, and government-related entities throughout the region. Having lived in Asia from 2005-2011, Carlo has a rich background in working with Asian businesses and clients, and he will eventually return to Asia to continue leading the effort.

Carlo has more than twenty years of global experience in the asset management industry, having worked throughout Asia, Europe, and the US. Most recently, he was the head of Fidelity International's institutional business in Asia, where he managed a team of forty-five institutional employees, as well as maintained client relationships in ten Asian markets. Before that, Carlo worked in several different roles at ING Investment Management in Asia, including head of institutional business, chief marketing officer, and head of business development.

Carlo has a bachelor of arts in marketing economics and a doctorate in investment and financial analysis from VU University in Amsterdam.
