Stephen A. Quance is a vice president and portfolio manager in US equities based in Austin, and manages several mutual funds and institutional accounts. Prior to joining Dimensional in 2006, he spent three years with UBS and worked in the energy industry as a trader for Williams Companies, an engineer at Schlumberger, and at an alternative-energy startup.

Steve earned an MBA from the University of Texas, Austin, and a BS in civil and environmental engineering from Rice University.
