The Dimensional Australian Resident Trusts are designed to meet the needs of sophisticated investors and our resources are devoted to improving these strategies wherever possible. Developing customised portfolio solutions involves taking the risk preferences, tax situations, and lifetime objectives of each individual investor into account. We believe this task is best left to an advisor who is directly familiar with his or her client's financial experience, risk tolerance and goals.
As a result, Dimensional does not generally offer the Dimensional Australian Resident Trusts directly to individuals. The relationship between Dimensional and the independent advisor is based on shared views about how capital markets work and how best to provide clients with a successful investment experience.
To help advisors build their business and manage their practice, Dimensional provides educational support and access to professional teams. We also assist advisors through webinars, conferences featuring some of the world's most distinguished financial economists, and an extensive private website of articles, research, and analytic tools.
DFA Australia has a team in place in Sydney to provide services to financial advisor clients worldwide. DFA Australia has a full team in place to provide services to advisors who are interested in working with us. The Financial Advisor Services team is led by Head of Business Development (FAS), Vanessa Bennett. The financial advisor client service team in Sydney works closely with Dimensional's global team, which allows us to keep fully abreast of current research and developments.
